Lola

Lola es el primer perro que entró en mi casa. La encontramos vagando muy cerca de la carretera por una zona de chalets de las afueras de Madrid. Pensamos que se habría escapado, pero no tenia nigun tipo de identificación, ni collar, ni chip ni nada de nada. Intentamos encontrar a los dueños poniendo carteles por toda esa zona, no muy grande por cierto. Nadie la reclamó nunca. Intentamos buscar una familia para ella, pero ya era tarde, nos había robado el corazón y no podiamos separarnos de ella.

Lola is the first dog that we had at home. We found her walking along the streets of a residential area very close to a highway at the outskirts of Madrid, Spain. We thought that she might have scaped or get lost from her home, but she had no identification collar or microchip. We tried to look for her family but no one asked for her. We then decided to look for a good family for her, but it was too late, she had already stolen our hearts and we where unable of separating of her.

Lola es una perra muy simpática, alegre, buena, entregada y muy muy agradecida. Fue todo un acierto quedarnos con ella porque la vida a su lado nos cambió totalmente a toda la familia. Lola es una perra de caza de tamaño pequeño: teckel de pelo duro. También es un poco cabezota y temeriaria como los de su raza y va mucho a su bola, tanto es asi que un amigo le llama "Lola Misiones" porque siempre se va a inspeccionar el territorio. Como veis Lola no tiene mucho que ver con el mundo del mushing, pero ella fue clave porque me abrio al mundo de los perros y con el tiempo, el tenerla a ella me permitió tener a mi segunda perra, con la que me adentré en el mundo del mushing. Ahora ya esta algo viejita pero todavía le encanta venirse a entrenar al principio de temporada y lo que mas le gusta es tirarse en el sofa.

Lola is a very cheerful, happy, good and devoted dog and she is very very grateful. We are very happy to have her with us because life with her has changed our life completely. Lola is a hunting dog breed: Hard coated Dachshund, as the rest of her breed brothers and sisters she is stubborn and lacks of fear. She is very independent and likes to inspect everything around her. AS you can see Lola has not very much to do as a mushing dog but thanks to her mi small personal world opened to the dog's world and with it to mushing. Only because I had her my second dog was alowed to arrive home. Although she is now quite old she still likes to come around our light first training days but what she likes most is to lay down on the sofa.
